The Sterile Processing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and supervising the operation of the staff and department services for CMHS. Oversees all sterilization and decontamination services to patient care departments at (CMH, CFH and OVCH) including receiving, issuing instrumentation and soft goods.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Sterile Processing required. IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) certification and previous supervisory or management experience required. Minimum five (5) years’ experience managing a multi-disciplinary staff of professionals in a complex organizational structure preferred. National Materials Management Certificate (AHRNM) preferred.
