POSITION SUMMARY
The Charge Nurse (RN) /Staff Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Charge Nurse (RN) /Staff Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. The Charge Nurse (RN) /Staff Nurse (RN) has supervisory responsibilities for LPN and Program Specialists (MHT/RCW).
