Job Overview:

As a Principal Investigator, you will utilize your medical expertise to assume responsibility for the safety and well-being of all study participants while assuring the proper conduct of clinical trials.

Your primary duties will involve administering physical exams, reviewing all study participant data (including but not limited to: Medical history, medications, laboratory reports, imaging, ECG’s, adverse events and protocol compliance throughout all phases of the study process). You will also interact with the internal operations team and sponsor companies/CROs to address safety and protocol concerns. The Principal Investigator must also be able to perform various clinical tasks and attend sponsor, CRO and customer-facing meetings.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our clinical research team. Candidates will handle multiple priorities, have excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to problem solve to a successful outcome.

Duties, Skills and Functions include but not limited to:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
  • Representative, outgoing and client focused
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company
  • Effective at problem solving, strategic thinking and conflict resolution
  • Strong presentation and networking capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and biopharmaceutical sponsors
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Review all diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the study team
  • Follow requirements for FDA form 1572
  • Maintain all required licenses to practice and execute the job as PI or Sub-I
  • Successful execution of research protocols according to FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice guidelines
  • Evaluate study volunteer’s eligibility for clinical trials
  • Perform physical exams and health assessments as required per research protocols
  • Complete all industry-required training
  • Assess study patient health through interviews and physical examinations


Qualification Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be actively licensed in the State of Oklahoma to practice medicine or able to obtain an Oklahoma State Medical license, all specialties invited to apply
  • No history of license suspension or debarment
  • Must hold or be able to obtain an unencumbered DEA and OBNDD license
  • Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP including applicable regulatory requirements
  • Previous Experience as a Principal Investigator or sub-investigator is desirable but not required
